Weddings are meant to be special and unique, each couple having their own definition of what their perfect day looks like. For Matthew and Nikki it meant hosting “one big party,” as they put it. Let me tell you, they pulled it off! Following a beautiful and meaningful ceremony, Matthew and Nikki kissed under the moon-gate, sealing their fate of a happily ever after together and headed to the reception to let the festivities begin.
The reception began as the couple had a wrestling entrance complete with a championship belt! As cocktail hour began, a magician performed tricks that mesmerized guests, young and old alike. It was literally a magical experience.
Cocktail hour transitioned into dinnertime where the maid of honor and best man gave speeches that described their relationships with the couple with humor and sentiment, thoughtfully delivered. Wedding cake wasn’t the only cake being cut as they also celebrated the birthday of the groom’s father with a cake of his own.
The entire event took place in Hamilton, New York and was inspired by the couple’s love for the lake and camping, complete with a sparkler send off as the newlyweds took to their boat for their getaway ride, and so ended another fairytale wedding.
